very few bass in South Pond
although its 70 feet deep @ the
deepest hole,,,

Comet pond has a 40 foot depth.

Messy Matty and I just ran the numbers, and it looks like we'll do Comet Pond. We also just looked at lodging and there is a Super 8 in Gardner that looks like it's about six miles to the north of the pond. Rates look to be about $60 per night with tax.

It looks like a very good place to fish, and I think that it will suffice to provide the trout fishing that we have been talking about over the last six months.

My vote is for a body of water that has either Pike, salmon or lake trout. Wouldn't mind doing it in northern MA or southern NH... Although the NH license is an issue.

Pike, salmon or lakers would be nice. But I'd like to stay in mass.
