Spence, I agree that little was accomplished, but you, the economists and the dems are not getting that we NEED to do more harm than good. That right - harm. So is the road to a 500lb person losing weight harmful? Of course, its brutal diets and exercise. There is no easy way. Our economy and structure are in the same boat. We need to scale back, take the consequences and move forward. More spending is not the solution just like more food is not the solution to lose weight.
