This is the largest blue I have caught in my life but have a similar fish...... 22#s 2 ounces weighed at Cherrys in Plymouth when I was 14, and we did catch 18-20lb blues with some regularity back in the late 80s and early 90s. I dont need convince anyone here what I caught, thats not why Im on here....just sharing a fish that ended up on my hook. An why lie about a blue? If I was going to I would probably say I caught a 50# or maybe even an 82#!

late 80s early 90s for sure,i was there too.i have not seen action like that in that area for a while
