It all comes down to personal taste, some people may be able see the difference and can justify spending extra money but I just decided to keep my cash in my pocket and bought the plasma. and have been very happy. One big difference between the Plasma and Led/Lcd is that rooms that are bright during the day, you won't see the show as well on a plasma as you would and LCD or Led. You won't notice this in the store, because the store is not a bright sunny place. Also watch for screen burn in. Also Verizon FIOs broadcast in 1080 not 720.... I have seen enough of all three tv's to know which I want, and LED/LCD is my choice.
