Mugz Registered User Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Attleboro, MA Posts: 453	Sounds like it's the 1208 then.....it can handle 5 oz jigs in the Canal but 5 oz seems like the limit. It throws 3 oz pencils well, but sometimes I wish the rod had a little more "whip" but as an all around rod I like it. The rod tip size you mention sounds about right for the rod I have as well...an 8 or 9. Thanks for the response Mike....
