I could not get link to work to watch that particular video but I have seen similar (based on your description ) many many times with my own eyes. One time a guy catches on at the canal. He holds it up and asks me if its a keeper. I say no , its only 22-24 inches. He says he's going to take it to his truck ( a 15 minute walk) so he can measure it. Of course he never came back The fish was dead about 2 minutes into his walk to the truck anyway.
I have also seen some people fishing and just keeping every single thing they catch. Everything from short stripers to hand size fluke , etc. I'm sure we've all seen similar.

Haha. I'm gonna forgoe the waders, korkers, belt and everytthing else next season. It's flip-flops and bathing suit for me...then maybe I can catch a 28" keeper too. Get a tan while I'm at it!! My old friend always said "brown fat is better looking than white fat!"
I love the fact he's in a bathing suit with no shirt, pliers or anything else, but he remembered to wear gloves....LOL!!!!!!

Thats funny... I was wearing exactly that when my buddies talked me into swimming out to some really far rocks on block last year last week of sept...was freezing...... Flip flops make great paddles when worn on your hands....NOT....

D,
The googan suit won't help you catch a trophy 28, but it will keep The Man off your back. He's fixated on them wader clad, fancy plug flinging, buggy driving resource rapers.
