It's gonna be a LONG two weeks listening to the talking heads and overzealous fans from both sides....
Bruce, I've been to five SBs. Three of them I was taken as the designated driver for some deep pocketed friends. Unless you have tickets to a bunch of the events and parties, especially the NFL's party, that's too much money IMHO. My first one was in 1982, and the game ticket was either $35 or $40.......

With revenue sharing, salary caps, and the nature of the game being closer to a level playing field than a lot of sports, football is set up almost fairly. All teams have a fairly reasonable chance of doing well, and all teams have weaknesses. It comes down to intangibles, like: can you kick a 32 yard field gold with a trip to the SB on the line? And the extraordinary talent of a few key players.
