For around a $100, you could either get a decent used rod (lami, allstar, st.croix, etc) online or get a new tica, daiwa, tsunami, ocean master, ugly, and a whole bunch of others these days. I don't know if I'd spend the money to get 10' more on my casts though, you're talking just over 3 yds?
