Very nice. I remember when that was a regular event in those waters... but I have not seen fish like that on poppers in a while. Every now and again someone does it but it use to be nearly every trip... no more.

heh....that was an eel bass
I would kill for a fish like that on a popper, but they only wanted eels that day.

You mean you hung that popper on it's lip for the photo?  Ohhh...thats lame... But I will say at least you're honest about it and that is good enough in my book.

i have to agree. a little lame and shady... your honest about it, so i guess no biggie, but i have never had a fish that big on a popper and was getting pretty jealous... i could only dream.
