I don't post much in this forum, but I thought you guys would have an opinion about this email. I know there are plenty of Muslims that don't have anything to do with terrorists.
I know there are many extremists in this country, if it comes to some kind of war here I think it would be best to get away from any battles between the 2 extremist groups and let them battle it out, I'll do what it takes to protect myself and my family. You make your choices.

That email has nothing to do with being prepared or protecting your family...rather it's a lie intended to promote racism and xenophobia.

It's also absurd. With BILLIONS of cell phones circulating the planet the notion terrorists would send burka clad women out to purchase bomb parts in plain sight is ridiculous.

What's really sad about this sort of propaganda is that it works and then crap like this happens...

it will be interesting to see how this investigation goes, seems too convenient to me. This area has a high Iraqi population and then this suddenly happens? I think there is another motive.

While this "email" is supposed to get a knee jerk reaction from people it uses elements of fact mixed with fiction. As a whole it is a sorry piece of misinformation both by the "there's a Kaida terrist round the corner" and the "hug & love everyone maybe they'll leave us alone even thlugh we are the bad guys crowd". Unfortunately, it still looks as though America is not yet ready for an adult conversation on this.
