If you get the next size up Keurig (Staples calls it the Office Pro. $129 but $25 coupon are often available) you can fit a fairly tall mug underneath it. Target has some awesome "Thermos" branded travel mugs that keep beverages hot for 6+ hours and allow one handed drinking. My go to for canal early mornings and would work great in a boat as well.
