So I see One Stop has the 18v LiIon Porter Cable on clearance. Take it home and the batteries don't charge. Look online and see that exact model has an issue where 6% of the batteries were defective 
Sure, they'll take it back but I think I'll get the Makita.
If anyone has the older 18v PC tools and wants the drill let me know.

I gave up on the cordless, got a corded one 2 years ago and never have to worry about the battery. Bought a small Bosh screw gun for the house for small stuff.
