The only issue I have w/ Bain, and I don't fault him on his sucess, but needs to stop touting himself as a venture capitillist, which is much different than a private equity firm. Remember, Romney brought the jobs record into this discussion, making it IMHO fair game. It is clear Bain did make some decisions that could have been handled differently, but were legal and made Bain a lot of money.

I fall into the Steve Rattner and Cory Booker camp on Bain I guess.
I'd prefer they didn't go after him for it. I think Romney's flips and flops have left him vulnerable enough. To quote the Jack Ryan line from Clear and Present Danger, "I'd give them no where to go". Push Romney as far right on issues as possible and furhter right away from his past opinions. This election will be about independents, not the far Right. They will vote R no matter what with the Anyone by BHO stance.

I'd make Romney's Massachusetts success look as much like Obama as possible. Then point out his take on GM, his past gun-rights statements and such... Hang him with his own words....

There is a reason that Romney is touting Bain experience and not Massachusetts, and that stems from not wanting to look to liberal... I'd rather see Obama and the left approach those angles...
