Spence, I'll send you a message. What type of wood are the stretchers ? You say 200 new? Did you have someone else make them?
I've been using oak for my big stuff lately. If they're pine How many cross-memember supports ? at least one in the middle? & do they have a bevel on the face edge so there's no 'wood' touching the canvas line ? Maybe you can send a pic. ? & Let's see how far up in RI you are. Thanks A lot. One can never have enough quality stretchers, it would be nice to save a little time. Are they constructed w screws ? pocket holed? etc etc...... I can work with that size so this maybe be a decent deal for me. There's no canvas on them now right? Thanks for listening to all my little questions, money is tight, but it may be worth it for me since I;m in "Operation Art Surplus" Over the next 2 months.
