Went to Bass Pro Shops last night to pick up some camping gear and the place was packed. I guess it was national amo night or something - actually it is hunters week and they had some good deals on hunting gear plus some raffles and they were doubling reward points on amo. The parking lot was packed - I said it looks like they are giving away free food and guess what, they were. They said it was something they do for reward members every three months.
Anyway the really cool thing was I met Iron Mike while browsing the fishing gear and he gave me a ton of great tips. Sometimes life hits you with unexpected moments that are really cool and that was one. What a nice guy! Kids had fun with the lazer rifles and they love watching the stripers.
Gonna fish today. Bike ride with Crash tomorrow and hit the beach with both families later on.
