I remember October of 2008 in the bay - there were billions being hammered by blues and bass as far as I could see from Quonset to hope to the Jtown bridge. Everywhere were blitzing fish. I was in 3-5 ft of water and all you saw was blue fish. You didnt need to cast, just put your plug in the water and jiggle, fish on in seconds. Also landed some bass. One of the most amazing days I have ever seen. I got on the water @ 2pm and had fish constantly until 8pm. Only boat around. That was the last time I saw peanuts in any quantity. Glad they're back
