I'd love to have jacks up here in mass... they are a darn tough fish and fairly user friendly. They've bailed me out of a couple bad fishing days in FL.

Jack crevalle have that pretty distinct long whispy pectoral fin... and they do have little teeth like you described.

Albies don't really have much for teeth... bonito do but they don't really have the lips... don't they have a pretty bony mouth.

Anyone have a pic of a spanish mackerel... I know they get them off Great Pt in Nantucket more and more frequently. They are slimmer than the jacks.
