Mud Hole is east of Block Island. Without looking at a chart I'd say it's about 10 to 12 miles. I was there last weekend and found no tuna at Butterfish hole, 20 miles south. Have you heard of tuna in mud hole or elswhere around Block Island?

Fish On,
Did you make it out there last Friday? I was at the Acid Barge at 6:30am trolled to the Mud Hole then back to the Barge, no hookups at all, I saw fish come up once very quickly is all. I did see plenty of flying fish which was pretty cool...Beautiful morning out there though.

179,
I put it at Pt Judith about 11 AM. I gave you a shout from there but heard nothing. You may have been out of range. We decided to head down to Block Channel/Butterfish Hole and fish the big temp. break. Saw lots of bait, but no tuna. Caught several Mahi Mahi with the biggest being 46" 22 lbs. Were any of the fish you saw Tuna? I'm heading down again this weekend. Staying at Champlin's. It looks like it's going to be a little rough so I'll likely being staying in close and fishing for stripers, blues, fluke, etc.

No just was talking to a friend and mentioned that that is a place to check out with my boat. If there aren't tuna then Dolphin are there and fun to catch. so wanted to try something different with my son but don't want to go too far off. Thanks for the reply.
