Why would they even mention putting the cat down? If anything put that idiot down that jumped!
At what time in this world are we going to stop dealing with the extreme stupidity of people. All to often rescue works risk there own life because some moron gets the bright idea to do something he shouldn't. If you make the choice to jump into a caged animals home you should die, if you decided that a hurricane is a nice time to surf and you go missing, you deserve to die.
The list goes on.....
