I have a small bench top Delta band saw and I love it. I use it more than my 14". I picked it up on C L for $40. As far as drill presses go, I have several. The smoothest is a bench top craftsman. I also got that on C L for around $50. I have a floor model drill press that needs a motor and some cleaning up if you want it....its yours! Give me a call.
Find a Delta benchtop drill press and get a Craftsman 10" 1/3hp bandsaw, it is a Rikon which are great products, cast iron table on it and it is on sale for $169.
