				Almost Ready

Cut the shrink wrap away, batteries and most of the gear is loaded, everything worked except the radar. The Garmin 740S didn't show radar in any of the main menus or sub-menus so I must have a bad connection somewhere.....hate looking for those. I'd hard enough to even get two arms into the console, let alone try to fiddle through all that wiring. Once the I get the trailer bearings done, I think I will be ready to rock and roll.

try a shot of CRC marine electronic cleaner into the male and female ends of all the plugs before you try and contort your back to enter the CC. (I wish they made CC's so they hinged up and you could gain easier access to the inside of the console on those smaller boats...you really need to be a midget to get in there.)

Luckily, the connections just needed some WD40 and the radar worked the very next day and wrapped up the cleaning and waxing this weekend. I have one zipper pull to get replaced and I'm ready for a shake down cruise. Goose you hitting any Tog?

The only thing left for me is to pick up my side canvass that needed a new zipper pull installed and then I'm ready to splash it.

				Alost ready

I'm almost ready to put my deck down......
Picking up my fuel tanks saturday (had them enlarged) once they are in place got to glass in a few more NidaCore cross supports & a few more lengths of fiberglass angle.
Should be gelcoating the bilge early next week, plumb the livewell, mount & wire mascerator pumps for livewell & fish boxes, new bonding system, a handfull of other things then should be fitting the new Coosa deck.

one of the may reasons I dont mind being 5'0" ... i can fit where most "humans" cannot go...althoug as i approach 60.. I'm not quite as flexable as i once was..
I have seen Sea craft boats with hinged consoles ( inboards)... I thought about it when I redecked mine a few years back... instead, i made each harness go to accesable buss or fuse panels...... all the terminations on the busses ( wires numbered with Brady markers and I keep a schematic) are coated with liquid tape... they never loosten or corode... even a large individual could reach anything they needed to the way it is set up....

I've pretty much worked through my list as well.... having the boat home this year made the list larger... grinding bottom paint tomorrow...recoat on sunday...
