if your south of the cape, i'd go 3 mm farmer john, if your north (much colder water once you round the cape) i'd go 5 mm.

right on.

I fish south of the cape. Cape,RI,CT,NY. Most of my trips involve
some hiking and the 5mm has baked me alive in transit. The
thermoprene version of the john seems to have a velcro closure at
the shoulder straps .....in place of a zipper. Seems like a cool
feature, as I would imagine with 3mm....it probably could be rolled
down to the waist pretty easily when in transit.

For whatever reason, I overheat a lot. And when I am hot, I get
angry. Trying not to be angry.

Has anyone any experience with the NRS farmers?

oh yeah...how well do the underarmour products stand up to the saltwater?
