Lots of Cranberry Juice. It has vitiman C and is very acidic. It makes it hard for the bacteria in you digestive track to grow. (Acidic)
Lotssa water and NO DIARY products. The bacteria thrive on diary products.
Crawl into bed and sleep, sleep, sleep. Get up only to drink more juice and water or go to the bathroom.
Works for me everytime. Never been sick more than a couple, three days.

Feeling a little better.....just coughing up all the crap in my lungs now (sorry gross, but you asked) still recovering though, thanks for asking.
Thanks to all for offering your home remedies, I got some great tips and I am feeling a little better. Just gotta get it out of my system now.

Drink 6-8 screwdrivers (have to get some Vitamin C)... then chase with a dose or two of Nyquil.
If it doesn't work the first time, do it again... and increase the number of screwdrivers... you may be sick, but you'll be feeling no pain!

Bats is bugs, I eat bugs!
In the restaurant industry we always say,
"You don't call in sick, you call in dead!"
I'm not dead yet!

Bat 2
Will never forget but most of my family has:,,,,, but my mom one morning went to get the wash cloth off of the kitchen sink faucet handle ....where she left it wet each evening from doing the dishes.... a freakin bat had got into the house and seeking a cool wet place to hide and hang ....was hiding just under that dishcloth hanging upside down like a bat does ... awww man it scared the hell out of her ...she went screaming and gasping as it hissed at her......lol poor lady .....and her triumphant 6 sons were there to save..... her from the evil dragon monster ....chasen that sucker all over the place was a blast.
