Yup, BW. My kung-fu classmates and I are going to eat at a Chinese seafood restaurant and go to a bar in Beantown afterward. Our parents have their spy network...

Lemme see - today, putting the finishing touches on the display room, hanging some prints, afternoon nappy, make a walk down the street to the SWE. Maybe a show and tell with Tattoo - he's gonna pick up the CD of the product shots I did of his plugs sometime today - maybe call Habs on the speakerphone while he's here for general harassment.

Sunday, possibly trouting in the early AM (hey, anybody know when the 2nd RI stocking is?), meeting of the Photographic Historical Society of New England in Boston in the afternoon.

"There is no royal road to this heavy surf-fishing. With all the appliances for comfort experience can suggest, there is a certain amount of hard work to be done and exposure to be bourne as a part of the price of success." From "Striped Bass," Scribner's Magazine, 1881.

Saturday work til 1. Head home grab some grub and gear. Fish South County overnight, grab some breakfast, then hit the ditch early in the am on Sunday.

Domination takes full concentration..

cruised the beach today...southside was dirty (they said NW on the weather but it was SW) but wasque looked like the bahamas, really nice...did not bring a rod (very dangerous move) but saw a couple vehicles with rods and they were doin more lookin then fishin. Heard of a guy who got 20 schoolies a couple days ago in the surf. I have been lookin thru my gear today....have it spread out over the garage. Need another day (or two) to organize it for the upcomming season. Surf stuff, boat stuff, stuff I will hardly use, ect. Picked up my reels from winter service and dropped them off for new line. By mid next week I should be ready for my first surf trip. I will go twice a week till they show good...then almost every night. ( I am lucky in that I can go for 2 hours of prime time and be in bed next to the wife before midnight. ..I might smell a little funky but she is use to it by now...in fact I think it turns her on... talk about a win-win...but that is another story)

Should have named the new pup digger, this dog can dig, I need to teach her to sniff out softshells and I will be in like flint.
