MSBA tourneys?

Thanks JohnR and you are correct in regards to the 7-day time limit....it is difficult to keep everyone happy when trying to run the derby......the deadline is in place exactly so we can keep everything in order and close each month in a timely fashion. We get people whining all the time because last months results are not posted in the spray yet....well we have to wait the seven day limit for postmarks plus 4 or 5 days additional to be sure we have all the weigh slips that may be coming for the past month. We can't have people coming out of the woodwork at the absolute last minute with a weigh slip they "forgot" to get out in a timely fashion....and then our job gets more difficult because we have to then re-figure the results.

Just stick to the rules....thats why we have them...so the playing field is level.

Well I don't care if I enter it last month or this, my point is it's an official weigh in slip in a "year long" tourney, so what's the difference when I enter it; provided it's an official slip and before the year end deadline?

Sorry Bob, I don't make the rules I just follow them....you got an issue go before the membership and try to get it changed but I can pretty much guarantee that rule is rock solid....otherwise there will be utter chaos trying to keep the derby orderly. We track by month Bob.....and the year end is done on conclusion of the season.....that is why we have a deadline of 7 days to turn in your slip......you can't turn in a slip for May or June just when you want because we award monthly pins to those who win each month. You can't turn in a May slip in August and expect it to count because it does not work that way. You know the old saying Bob...."you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time".....most of the people are pleased.
