Yes, the Don M raffle ends on the 22nd, several days before TFCTF. We have not finalized the details but likely we will have the prize drawings at our semi-official S-B Warwick Airport area meeting hall

I will bring tickets and photos to PF2005 as well

John -

We've been flat out getting stuff ready for the SWE Fair, the RISAA show and putting a package together for the grant we're working on.....but I was just re-reading this and wanted to sweeten the pot a little heading into the home stretch.

I'd like to donate an 11x14 double-matted framed print of the Graves Point Fishing Club from The Angler's Art to the list of prizes.

We know firsthand how tough it can be to deal with health issues like this having gone through it in our own families and we hope it will help Don out a bit.

I'll also pick up some raffle tickets via PayPal in Mrs. Crafty's name - since I never have any luck

Don's a helluva nice guy and we wish him a full and speedy recovery so he'll soon be able to enjoy a morning like these gentlemen had!

WOW - Thanks Chuck!

Folks, the Ante is UP - get in on this Raffle!

Also added to the list: AdamR (you know, the one that got a 50 on his own needle this fall) is going to donate a custom needle and swimmer to the list of prizes...

Thanks guys!

John

Words can’t express the feelings I have right now for what the S-B family is doing with this raffle. It is with the greatest admiration and respect for everyone at S-B, I write this humble note of thanks.

This illness has been very trying, to say the least. At times it has been very difficult keeping a positive attitude, but just following this thread has kept the fire burning and the need to beat this.

I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Everyone within this community is not only great fisherman but incredible humanitarians as well. Each and every one of you will remain in my thoughts and prayers for a long time to come.

I look forward to seeing you at the first RI leg this spring.

Many Thanks and God Bless,
Don Michaud

Don - you are quite welcome and certainly command the respect among us. Thanks to you for all of the support you've given all of us over the years. The CT Surfcasters have lent a hand in raffle prizes and buying tickets and the guys at plugfest generated a seperate raffle that day as well.

Keep your eye on the prize and we'll see you soon.
