KEV on Plum Island
Hello everyone. My name is Kev, and I'm from Plum Island, Massachusetts. I'm new to saltwater fishing. I have 4 wonderful kids, and the best wife in the whole world I'm not going to type out more information, just because of the simple fact:
Fishing season will be over by that time <g>
I'm looking for fishing tips, finding fish on plum island,MA...
I fish in a river, and the mouth of the river..which connects to the ocean to my right...
Kev

Hi Guys, I'm Bill Sirotnak, 42 yrs old, and a purchasing director for a copper alloy strip mill. I have a wife, a 12 and 16 year old sons, and a golden retreiver.I've been fishing and boating in L.I.S. for 30 years. I do own waders and a couple surf sticks, but if I'm fishing I'm usually boating.I guess you'd say I live inland, so I trail the boat and usually launch in the Ct. river or Milford harbor. I always have some sort of project going on, and last year it was an old Seacraft 23 which didn't see the water til Sept, so I'm really chompin at the bit to get a full season in again. It's nothing fancy, but it's perfect for these waters. You can check it out @ classicseacraft.com - so if you see me out there, hail the "beach blonde" - like to put the faces to the names.

Really nice job on that Seacraft Bill, you have alot of patience it truly shows. And your attention to detail is super. You did a fine job bringing that boat back to life

Just want to say Thank You to all the anglers that posted on this thread. It's great to know who's out there and hear so many nice things. Great to read the anglers boasting about their wives and kids, too. I'm with you all the way...
If you have not posted here as of yet for the "Introduce yourself 2002" thread, please do so...
Tight lines & good fishing to all!

...My name is Gilly and I'm 30 years young. I LOVE TO FISH......PERIOD! Whatever may be hot at that moment, I'll be chasing it. I can't stand wasting time when fish are around..(tic toc...times' a wastin) is exactly what I mean by that. I fish anywhere from S. County to the tip of P-ville ...I just try and stay away from the goup of guys without surfrods....
.....I'm a surf/rock/bridge/jetty and always ready to fish guy ....I've recently purchased a boat which I've been repairing for the upcoming season, but I'll never give up on shore fishing.....born/fed/raised on it..... ...
....like Steve, I'm also in the market of job-hunting ...I'm a newbee to the computer world but am getting the "bug"....
....I'm still looking for my trophy fish, but will never give up on the little guys....waaaaaay too much fun!!!
...I primarily fish alone....(ever since Dad gave it up years ago)....but ever since I got this dang computer, I've found out that there are many others with the same passion that I have and look forward to meeting "almost" all of you.....
.....any more info on me....and I'd consider us dating!!!.... .....so the rest you can ask me in person!
.....ummmm did I mention that I like to doodle??.....

Welcome, My name is Bob and I live in Weymouth. I fish anywhere along the South Shore and south, south and then further south. I'm a computer technician working the south shore and cape. Not married anymore, but I do have a geat lady in my life. I fish all form shore and just purchased my first Fly Rod and Reel. I've been tying flies for about a year now (gotta see if these things catch fish) I'm also a memeber of MSBA (Mass Striped Bass Assoc.)
Again Welcome
Bob B.

New to the board...
My names Bill. Live in S. County, and call the Matunuck suds home. Been known to travel as far south as C-Town breachway (in the fall after the crowds drop off - I hates crowds). Fish mostly with plugs, jigs, and plastics, mostly on the lighter side. Also fish a small boat out of Salt Pond, although the boat thing is fairly new to me; had a blast with some fluke last summer, and hit my first Albie too. Been fishing the surf for about 15 years, and still learning. I'm 38 years old, married with two girls, 7 & 11.

Hi, My name is Chet and I'm a Fishaholic. I caught my first bass when I was 5 years old on a hand line and have chased em ever since. I went to work for "Coot" Hall on Cuttyhunk when I was 12 and have run charters out of there and New Bedford ever since, except for the time 1986 to 2000, when we lived in Vermont!
We have three grown daughters and eight grand kids and one great grand kid, two cats and one Golden Retriever.
The Nor-Easter, our present boat is a 30 Ft. Crosby Hawk that takes us to where ever we want to go, when ever we want to go and gets us back.
The best bass I ever caught personally was 61 1/2 lbs and have caught 4 others over 60 for other persons.
I grew up in the Hey Day of Striped Bass Fishing at Cuttyhunk and have a book almost ready to go to the printers about the Guides and the Fish from the 50's to the 80's.
I know a few of the folks on this board and look forward to meeting more of you as time goes by.
We run the Nor-Easter as a freight and passenger vessel from New Bedford to Marthas Vineyard and the Elizabeths and also run charters for Striped Bass.
I like to fish in the "old style" with Eel Skins and Plugs and wire in the Rips and lead line and Eel Skins along the shore.
Glad to help in the widening knowledge of the Sport of Striped Bassing.

Hola All... My name is Bill and I live in Bourne with my lovely wife of almost 10 years Mary. No kids but one Chocolate Lab (Aiko) who thinks he is. Like Slipnot, I also spent a good deal of my life following the Dead. During the week I can usually be found somewhere between the bridges jigging the canal at night. Most weekends I spend out on Sandy Neck camping. I fish the beach there and also launch my 17 Key West CC from the beach and fish all over CC bay and Barnstable harbor. Side trips to the Elizabeths and the outer beaches whenever possible. Hope to meet some of you soon.

Mattinuk (that's how I used to pronounce Matunuck - everyone knew I was from Mass) and BDSandman - welcome to S-B...
Matoonoc - I probably shouldn't say this but people will forget come the fall, I was out at C-Town on a couple occasions last year with nice times & tides and almost had the place too myself. No problem working the spot when there is only 3-4 guys there that cooperate... (any fish, uhh, down the road yet?)

Hi
My real name is Ron. I live in Seaside Heights, NJ. Where the twinkie is a Prized Sized catch. Yeah, we have to work for them but our season is longer. Some will say it never ended this past year...
I like the area you all live in and I try to show "Steve in Mass" a good time when he comes down to my neck of the woods in the Spring and the Fall.

Hi John, actually, I distinctly remember one of your posts from last November with a nice fish at the breachway, as I had been there earlier that same night (I think it was) and got skunked! My last fish (30" +/-) came from there on December 15th --- talk about having the place to yourself!
I haven't been to the beach or wall yet this spring (and just one ill advised trip to the "toilet" about two weeks ago with nada), but plan to give it a go this weekend. Haven't heard of anything either, but don't really have any connections in the know. #^^^^^^&'s post, however, is verrrry intereseting
