I will have the first meeting at my house...I will provide coffee, etc.
You only need to bring your plug bag(s) and I can really help you.
PS- I need to buy another tackle box!

and then I oftentimes fear for my pluggage. When bluefish show up, my pluggage, my poor, poor pluggage. I miss them when they're gone. Need to make sure I have enough pluggages and try to keep them away from those bad, bad bluefish.

If you had too many plugs would you commit plugicide?

I may be a plugaholic-lets see.

On Friday I snuck down the elvevator at work, stood at a corner and a Jeep pulled up. I got in and we went around the block. I handed the driver some money in exchange for a brown paper bag. I got out and got back to work with a bag and a Bernzy Commander.

Does that qualify?

I'm a jigaholic. But only by necessity. I probably leave 50-100 a year somewhere on the bottom of a lead mine called the Canal.

Plugs? Nah. I spend less than $100 a year on them. I have hundreds to start with that I've accumulated over almost 40 years. New wood is nice, but I catch all the fish I want on plastic Atom 40s and Atom Jrs that averaged about $5 a pop when purchased. Some of the Jrs were like $3.99 on sale at Bennys. I still have dozens of Gibbs Canal Specials that I bought for $4 or $5 apiece right from the old shop in Sagamore Beach. All of the Hawg seconds that didn't cost me a nickel. Plus the "donations" I got for various favors I've done folks. I'm set for life. I might by one or two of something new just to try out (latest venture was 2 Hab 3 oz pencils when Mike had his blowout sale), but that's about my limit for any one year.

Wise men speak because they have something to say; Fools, because they have to say something.

I had a slip.
I was doing fine and then a friend asked me to meet him at the RISA show.
I was hanging in there and then I went by the Afterhours booth. I blame Don. After the first plug it was a blur. Tattoo darters, Pt. Judes, a bunch of RI Poppers.

Now I am back at day one. 24 hours without buying a plug.

My story is the same as Bobf
My "friend" TattoBob talked me into going to the show.No problem, Just another fishing show, or so I thought. Seems Bob knows almost all the plug builders and most of the vendors. So weil Bob chatted with all thees dealers and manufacturers I had to stair at all the merchandise. I was fine till we got to the After hours booth. when I came to I was sitting in my truck in the parking garage with no money and a bag full of hand crafted beauty's. Pink ones, yellow ones, Blue and white, and those mac pattern ones with the joint in the middle. Names like Tattoo, Gags, Salty buggers. My hands are shaking just thinking about em. And don't get me started on the custom rods and the VanStall booth.

I need help!!

you're better off

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

Fortunately for me, I was able to tie myself to the post in the basement so that I could not get down to the RISAA show, although I called a number of people there incessantly to try and get my fix ... as the weekend wore on, I started to ween.

I always thought that plug addiction was something that happens to other people, I never thought it could happen to me. Sure I bought a few plugs to toss here and there. I thought I had small collection, maybe 30-40 plugs.....that is until last week when I decided to do an inventory...for sheets and giggles..... UH.....tripple digits easy, and here I am! I am PrisonFish and I now know I have a problem.
