When one fishes at night, only, one can't possibly think a colored plug has anything more to do with catching fish, than the confidence one has in that plug. How well would you all think an albino eel would do fished at night? It'll probably do just as well as any other naturally colored eel.

Also, a major factor for me is what the weather is!!!
Different plugs and color on a sunny day compared to
a rainy or cloudy day!!!
And also factor in the surf conditions!!!
Different size plugs for different types of surf!!!
