Saltbugger:
Matz Beer Balls-those were nasty. First 2 beers nearly gagged ya. I can still remember the smell of Matz. Fresh from the ball kinda smelled like wet corrugated board.

I miss my big block 69 Mustang, mach 1 package with 428 CJ and C-6 auto on the floor. Talk about rubba, pick a gear. I used to scare the hack out of my passengers. from 30mph, drop it in to second, smash the peddle to the boards and get her sideways. My only regret in life is sellin that car.
Ha Ha Ha this is fun I could do it all day.
I remember seeing my belt buckle when I looked down.
I remember having more hair on my head than in my ears.
..When gas was .53 cents a gallon for regular, back when unleaded meant something.
...When kids respected adults....well a bit more.
...When it was a dads job to "spank" the kids when they were bad.
pumping gas and asking "regular or unleaded?"
checking the oil, washing the windsheild and saying thank you when the customer paid.
Adults were always addressed as "Mr. or Mrs."
Yeah, washing the windshield was SOP at the Atlantic station where I worked. Didn't mind it though because that was about the same time as when mini-skirts were the rage.
I pumped gas in Eastham at Brown's Superette when two piece bathing suits got real small. Me and the other kids had a rating system for the bathing suit clad girls. It was awesome.
Smokey14 gas was $.28 a gallon and cigs were the same.
