I have mine done, just need to know where to send them. Can someone send me a PM? and, NO, I am not sending them to either Ed or Vic - I know better. LMFAO.

The only flies I have received so far are Denis' well diggers and your sand eels Tynan.

I tracked down NewEngland on his personal email account and he said he was out......very dissapointing, considering he had signed up for two spots.

Guys, please remember if you sign up for something like this, the other people in the swap are depending on you to participate and have tied flies in anticipation of you taking part.

Since guys have already sent the full amount of flies, I think everyone else should too. I'll figure out a way to mix them up, we'll just get a couple of the same pattern.

Sinking Line

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to ask, who fishes a sinking line? Curious cuz whoever gets my mystery fly will need one to fish it correctly.

cheap glasses

Ed -

go to OSJL, AC Moore or Michaels and get a cheap pair of 1.0+ or 2.5+ or better. I have perfect vision, but a little magnification helps worlds. That being said, I am no optometrist.

Outstanding Flies

Guys,

If I don't hear back from the people with outstanding flies I'll close the swap within the next week or two. Tiers that have sent thier flies feel free to give input if you feel we should hold off or close it.

I think closing it in two weeks is reasonable. Also ,a notice to those who havent sent flys yet to please respond if they're "in or out" as of now. That way if there are others who would like to participate there is still time.

Flies in Mail

Guys,

I went to the post office this morning and the flies are headed your way. Hopefully they'll get much use come spring. It was a fun swap and am always up for another. Note for the next one....unfortunately the post office doesnt except dated postage?? News to me, but just a heads up.

Best of luck on the water!

I am really liking the Shrimp pattern for the flats, can't wait to use it....
That will go nicely with the clear intermediate line for the Veterans 9 WT outfit we are collaborating on...I am just now seeing that you were part of the swap.
Nicely done!!

I agree, that looks like a great fly. I'll have to get down to the cape or RI and catch up with CB for some flats action!
