SSX - Back when I started this board, all I wanted a decent sized board primarily for Surfcasters of New England and those that want to surfcast in New England with a equal doses of fun, civility & openess... I wound up making a bunch of friends and learned to respect a lot of people.

Fortunately we've also found a few people from beyond New England that are pretty cool too and we don't hold their Jersey residency against them ... Actually even given me new consideration to the Joisey boys & gals as the only ones I'd really met with any regularity before were the line crossers out at Wasque and the few I knew in high school .

This board was never started to make a million or be my income, which it has done niether. It was started to foster a good home to us up here in the Northeast when the other big board alot of us came from was in it's death throes, (WMI) .

My post was directed at anyone who thinks some other boards dirty laundry should be aired on this site, because it shouldn't....as I said that should be the end of that discussion.

This board rules, it survives on it's own and for it's own merits and I hope it continues to embody John's vision when he started it. If for no other reason than what Boo said, John's a big boy and he owns the clubhouse.

John, this place has become more then a place to come and discuss stuff once in a while, you got yourself a bunch of good people here (some bad) this is like a community were you get to know one another, you gotta love it

As many have already said, Your doing a hell of a job, Great Job!!


But this summer you better get out there and fish



G-S i hear ya 100% & yer right!! this place survives on it's own and i'm so glad i did a google search on "Striped-Bass" and found this as Number 1 Site, i probably would of never found it

SSX - Almost 4 years and the centerpiece has always been the forum. Not a Boga - looks like a Berk Digital
