You CAN'T let go of it - as they say - Bad MOJO if you do.

Per Bob's thoughts - just try to stay in water less than 3 feet deep and it will last you another ten, then I'll sell you my Sequoia.

Timely Topic

I have a 2003 taco. just got a letter from toyota. they are offering "corrosion resistance treatment". they offer 15 yr warranty on the frame, but you have to get this treatment. also mentioned if the frame is perforated, they may opt to repurchase the vehicle @ original MSRP or 1.5 the Kelly blue book. This letter when out to all with 2001 - 2004 trucks in select states

My 99 taco just officially failed yesterday. When I put my finger through the frame the other day I thought it was time to go get checked.

One of the sales guys was waiting for me to hit me up to buy a new one. When I asked what I could buy for the check I would be getting, he was kind enough to explain to me the laws of "supply and demand".
You see, since Toyota has recalled so many of these Trucks, there aren't many left for used inventory, so therefor everyone wants them, and Tacomas are more expensive now... Hey could of course hook me up with financing.

I figuere he's been having a tough week, so I didn't bother to compliment him on getting that line out with a straight face.

I'm thinking F-150 (used) next.

They really are just burning bridges. My experience with Toyota was not what I would call reassuring. The national people couldn't care less about the issue. I'm thinking the same J, I've had Toyotas for over 20 years, but buying a Ford will be on my horizon once this one dies.

All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.
