Jeez Dave you dont post here for years or check your pms or respond to emails then you sign on and say you got a 50!!!!

But really congrats man, not too many guys work as hard as you in the surf.

did you get in on your patented eel techinque? you know the one you talked about this winter at the edge. That seminar stuck with me, especially that proven tactic, I will be employing that this season.

Congrats again, cant wait to see the pics.

If you guys have a chance to listen too dave speak about surf fishing, do it, has a very thoughtout approach to his fishing.

I know, I kind of fell off on the boards when I worked for the Fisherman and never got back into it. Maybe today will change that. Someone told me this post was here so I figured I'd kill the curiosity.

All the dishonest people died off, and we're left with truthful fishermen who release 70#+ fish to fight another day.
I looked at that Laptew photo real careful-like, and I think I could make out a faint halo above Blaine's head. No sh_t.

Here are two pics, not the best... I have much better on my friends camera--I didn't bing mine that night (naturally)... I'll post them when I get them.

Thanks for all of the Congrats everyone... if I catch another one--ever--it's going back. Kind of wish I released this one too...

Paul, thanks for the reassuring words, you're right, it's just one of those personal things I guess .

Scotty... Glad someone noticed that!! When I got back to the car and changed out of my wetsuit, I couldn't find my other sock! We decided that was the redneck version of rolling up the pant leg of your swishy pants to show that you were packing.
