Rained all night and all 5"is gone (it was 45 deg until very early this morning). It is 37 degrees out and raining with slushy snowflakes thrown in. Temperature is supposed to steadily drop (vineyard is 30 and snowing). Us and the outer cape might get anywhere from 1-6". It's gonna change over to all snow any hour now.

This is the backdoor, I guess. Cold air spinning around the backside of the low. Winds are now NW 40-50 and they are supposed to get stronger. Always the chance of losing power on days like this

The word is that some of you got some big snow. Many Vt and NH ski areas are reporting 2-3' this morning. Sweeeeet.

I don't know if I can hold out much longer. The boat has run about 3 of the last 9 days. Have a res for Wednesday night with a Friday return. Work, unfortunately. All my dreams of fishing on LI is going up in smoke. Winds are looking to be firm but hopefully not to. I'll just run out of time and energy.

I just keep working and smiling. Kind of bummed about the backside snow. I golf a little and kinda wish the course would have stayed clear. It is now but it doesn't look to be good golf weather

Boredom ain't so bad. I had a fun dream last night that I caught a 30-40lbish fish on an eel in one of our brackish ponds.

About a foot and a half here in Abington, blowing and drifting like I have not seen in years! Last night was the worst I have seen since the blizzard of 78! White out conditions so bad I could not see the tree 10' outside my window! Lost power about 10:30 and was worried about how long it would be out? A tree limb came down on the wires across the street from me. Power was restored about 2:00 am which was good because the temp in the house was down to 60 degrees. Still snowing to beat the band here, and blowing....lots of heavy looking branches! Gotta go cook breakfast while we still have power!

Almost time to get our fish on!!!

Now who ever said you weren't you slacker.

Shovel as little as possible. Pray for rain. You know the drill. I don't even own a snow shovel anymore. Broke friggin 2 of them LAST friggin winter. If this is the set-up for most of the winter then I'll take it. Let em have their snow. We want rain !

It's feeling like it wants to snow but still rain here.

I bet you got some water in the haba lately. Over the bulkheads and into the shacks here ...... Islands washing away

Me thinks we got very lucky down here. We'll see what the rest of today brings. It looks as though the majority of the moisture has pulled north andis sparing us the backdoor. Had a trace this morning when it changed over but it has stopped and now it is 34 deg and blowing 50.

Looks like we are being spared. Incredible close call. Great Point is gonna see more snow than anywhere else out here.

Spoke to a friend in Chatham and he says it is coming down pretty good there. Back door just missed giving us a few inches. Thank the lord ! Not a measurable amount of snow anywhere (yet )

Man, those are some photos. You folks have some snow !
