Hey Slipknot,
I have never built a plug. I have fished plugs for years and have always wanted to make my own. Is this a get together for experienced people or can someone like myself attend. Thanks pbrown

PBrown welcome aboard. Unfortunately the sign up for this get together was awhile ago, and due to limited space the list is shutt off. I think there may be another down the road.

Pbrown - welcome to S-B...

Unfortunately, like Specialist said, the plug party seems is booked up, actually it's overbooked as there looks to be twice as many people this year than last... Perhaps the only good news is, since ther are no openings, nobody will likely steal your plugs or car keys... (Just Kidding - it is a lot of fun)...

Bottle swimmer lip

As there is no more room to go see MrPogie make his Bottle Swimmer lip, I wonder if he could give us a description of his process and tooling. I have built swimmers with metal lips, but not bottle swimmers. I was getting ready to turn some 1 1/2 oz to paint black for night fishing, but haven't figured out how to create the lip, and be able to do it consistantly.

Assinippi, I'm in the process of doing that. I've already taken most of the pics, they just have to be edited for size. Then I've got to type out some text to go with them. I can't guarantee they'll be done before Christmas as things are getting busier as we get closer. But I'll post them as soon as I can. ...mrpogie

....waiting

Slip I'm still waiting by the mail box for my invite. Actually, I don't want to be too close to BM anyway, he scares me.

Slip,

I'm bummed I never made it up. What a lousy fall I had. The plug thing sounds like a good time, not sure I can make it. I'm gonna try though.

I may be late as my God daughter's birthday party might be the same day - not certain yet.

On a side note - if you want to see the very nice article Mr Pogie did last year on Applying Envirotex to plugs:

Look forward to seeing everyone...
