It won't affect my fishing much... I didn't fish much last year, 80% of my fishing is about 5.4 miles away, and I just traded the rubicon for an almost new tacoma 4 banger... yeah, I have a payment now, but doing the math quickly on my 90-100 miles 5 days a week (to work) the gas savings will just about offset the payment, and that's with plugging in $3.90/gal... plus there is almost 90000 less miles on the engine... also, I don't have to throw the trash barrels in the jeep anymore and make 3 trips to the transfer station....
ps... who's got SB stickers???

Lot's of three tide sleeping in the truck, at least it's a comfy little condo.
Bribing the dog sitter will be expensive though.

It will not affect me much at all. I don't have enough free time to fish that the increased cost will be minimal.
Gas is $4.60 in Chicago.

I've been filling the tank on the new boat. 65 gallons so I'm looking at $260 to fill up. Last year gas was $2.60 at this time = $170. $90 bucks more for the same $*^%$#.
Once she's full I will never let her get below 3/4.

still be fishing at least 4 days a week but I'll be bitching about it. Thank god I work on Cape so I have to go there anyway and my boss lets me leave my boat at work too as my truck guzzles gas like no tomorrow. It helps a lot.

I was looking at sailboats again, that would mean spending wknds on lake champlain. If I could plant a few stripers in there I would consider it.
