Nonracist version: jigs and ODM or maybe jigs and Skippy!

Bob and I hit Ribbons this morning. Excellent fishing lots white chinners and big sea bass. Bob put on a rubba clinic, without the meat on the tip. Nothing ever changes.

That last one on the 4" split tail after we ran out of crabs was a blast on the lighter rod, that's the second big tog this year on a jig. I routinely catch them in the spring on that same 4" jig around shallow rocks. Everyone knows Black Sea Bass are suckers for jigs, but I doubt too many are catching tog without the meat.

I'm going to wait to see on Saturday, my rain gear s**ks and since the T-top and canvass, I've seen no real need to upgrade. The wind looks managable, not sure I want to fish in a rain this time of year.....burrrr.

Nice! I was thinking of going yesterday as well...decided to fertilize the lawn then go look for albies. Well, I only found two albies and they were real small. It is togging time. I am going this week for sure.

Great photos goose!

Long range forecast not looking like a killer for TogFest III, let's hope it holds or gets better!

Dearest seadangles,

I was chatting with my fishing partner and he shared with me your angling brilliance. I would be honored to join your crew if you still have a spot available. (Ps I bring lots of good beer)
