I am absolutely stunned, speechless..........

"Wow" John was a true sportsman, I will miss seeing him on Race point or in the fog at SW Point BI, I wish the best for his family and his closest friend in this time of sadness. He was one of the best and will be missed.

I am totally shocked and deeply saddened with the news of the passing of a such a truly kind, generous wonderful man. John always had such a great outlook and a great sense of humor. I can't believe this. My sincerest sympathy and condolences go to his wife and son and family and friends God Bless John
I first met John back in 2000 I think at Weakapaug bait shop, he was there with his son and we all had a barbeque. I'll never forget catching my first bass on one of my own plugs with him, he knew so much about fishing and life also. I am a better person for knowing him. He will be sorely missed by the fishing community

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I just got the sad news of John's passing. I felt like I got punched in the stomach, as I cant draw a breath to express the sadness of this news, and the impact that his life had on all of us. John will be sadly missed, as he truly was a gentleman, and a legendary plug builder. His legacy will remain with all of us for a very long time. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, and those who were close to him who feel the weight of this tremendous loss. John touched many lives, and he will be sorely missed. He truly had a heart of gold, and has helped so many people in the fishing community including myself.

Goodbye John, we will never forget you!

Sincerely,

Bliz

Couldn't believe the call from AH Don this a.m. A good friend and great plug builder probably the best, gone. The surfcasting community has taken a big time hit and I will mourn this loss.

May God watch over his family and buddies at this hard time.

Wow, I was away this weekend and just logged on to see this. What horrible news. RIP Hab's.
