The 2001 regulations for Stripers came out Tuesdays night. commercial now up to 4 fish size limit reduced to 34''. recreational stayed the same 2 fish 28'' /// Thats Ri , they increased the size the traps can take, So it changed the ratio of the poundage quota thats how the rod and reel changed//
Thanks, sir... personally, I'm not against a 4 fish limit for the comm rod and reeler... 40 fish in Mass, that's a little much but it would have been nice to keep 36 inches. I do think that 28" is just too small for rec fishing. Other than Schoolie Monster, who here keeps a 28" fish??
