I had a young guy that worked for me recently and he had um..........a real affection for tube socks.
I really wish he hadn't told me that.

I got a girl she lives cross town,
She’s the one that really gets down.
When she boogie,
She do the tube snake boogie.
Well now boogie little baby,
Boogie woogie all night long.

I got a girl she lives on the block,
She kinda funky with her pink and black socks.
She likes to boogie,
She do the tube snake boogie.
Well now boogie woogie baby,
Boogie woogie all night long.

I got a girl, she lives on the hill.
She won’t do it but her sister will,
When she boogie,
She do the tube snake boogie.
Well now boogie little baby,
Boogie woogie all night long.
Blow your top blow your top blow your top.

If I might, he's referring to Jimbo in the movie, not me! Absolutely no similarity whatsoever. But I tried it once (I swear, Mom) and now I have to wear those Dollar Store magnifying bifocal glasses.......because the scrambled effect hurt my eyes, I wasn't...you guys! Oh forget it.

Yeah but this kid was proclaiming his affection for tube socks before the movie came out. I asked him what he did with them when he was done. He said he just threw them in the laundry for his mom to clean.

I used to love socks when I had a wife to wash them.
Now I hate them.
Later,
Rick

I think the situation you are in now is much better. Now that gays can marry I'm sure you and Brucey will work out a fine sock washing agreement. Just kiddding, but seriously, you are way better off washing your own socks then you were when they were being washed for you. Trust me.

"...you are way better off washing your own socks then you were when they were being washed for you" That is almost one of the deepest philosophical statements about laundry I think I have ever heard.
I separate and wash, me missus folds, I deliver it to the proper recipients. I have no patients for kids socks which inevitably come out of the dryer insideout. I also have been banned from folding because I am expressly bad at it and yes (not to steal your thunder Rappin') once during folding I put my wife's underwear on my head and danced around doing a "Laundry Rap"......this is the way it's got ta beeee...if I'm a gonna fold this here laundry...I say ooh, ooh this here laundry! Following that incident she got a restraining order prohibiting me from touching her fine washables without permission or at least her being in them at the time.
