How would you weight this plug?
Heres the first popper from my winter batch.. AYC, epoxied magnum screweyes..(gonna threw wire the next ones), createx paint, envirotex clearcoat...
Anyway, I weighted this one with a bit of lead in the tail, but Its my suspicion that i should go with 2 slugs. One in the tail and one in the belly. Ideally I'd like these to just barely sink.
Any thoughts on the slugs?? (When I say slugs I mean black powder bullets.)
.What so you guys use to weight a polaris style popper??

Oh. I had a needle that I made last winter whih was those same colors. The bass loved it especially a better one in the fall at Race Point who ate it and is still wearing it I hope.Sigh, sorry but the colors reminded me I gotta do up some more that color.

I dont believe in that philosophy. I used epoxy in the holes and I bet my knots would fail before the screw eyes.. BUT.... Better safe than sorry, so the next batch is going to get wired. I promise
