Canal early am

Fished from 1-430 this am with eels. Not a sniff on the West but got into some small 30in fish on East.

I'm gonna go try the Canal tonight, in the Bournedale area of the Canal. Tightlines!

If anyone's in the area, gimme the sb-gang sign.

just a suggestion. Eels change color to match their surroundings, they may look unnatural to a striper. Use a black bucket for your bait tank.

Thanks for the info,I will change the color of my livewell. I was planning on dropping one into the ground in my garage I have a nasty filter for it..but I've been too busy w/ the family. It's been a great summer so far w/the wife & kids.

Before the fall run I'll get it done

But in the mean time hows this for quick mods????????

Yes, I too got the pleasure to use some of those Alien abducted mutated eels.Where did they come from AREA 51? & what was up w/ them?
They had those massive eyes & freaky curled in/up lips not to mention the grayish color.
Man they had a face that only a Mother could love
