Lets Go Lets Go...Lets set the date for the Mass leg
Ok , we kicked this around. We are down to sept 15 or Sept 22. Lets nail one down. Its just two weeks away. After we pick a date we still got to nail down the details of where , exact times , etc.
My vote is for Sept 15 since that leaves us more time to get the RI leg in before too late in October. However , sept 22 is an excellent second choice.
Time to make an executive decision John. 15th or 22nd for the Mass. leg.

John, I'll be away those dates, but I'll likely be hitting the south shore Friday night (14th) if you want to do some scouting.
A little pre-vacation fishing to get the ball rolling.
Let me know what you're thinking for a possible MV run too.

I say the 15th too as the tides are better IMO... Schoolie, more than happy to scout...

The 15th BC and I will be loading up for MV so that date is out for us, but don't hinder the tournament because of that, that date may work better for the rest of you guys, we can always try and do the RI leg as things will be slowing down for us then.

OK - I vote for the 15th as it does give us more time between dates and less conflicts with other things and flings.... Meet at the same place? Or maybe the parking lot next to the water behind M&D's? MikeCC - you up for that and are you up for fishing this too?

Cool - the 15th (Maybe I can hit MV on the 22nd )
Bluefish over 59 inches count...
High tide is around 10:30 pm in most Mass spots, sunset should be about 7:30-8:00. We would want to hit the roads by 6 I'd think. How does 4pm sound?

What are the official tourney hours. I vote for 1 hour before sunset Friday night to one hour after sunrise Sunday morning.

Good point John. This is a catch and release tourney. Last thing you want to do is catch a winner then lose cause you kept it.
Slipknot has the grill , I'll bring the Strawberry Shortcake!! I need to know if Got Stripers is coming. If he is , I need extra Strawberry Shortcake. He's an Incredible Eating Machine!

It looks like I can make it! Now comes the hard part, where to fish. Ditch, Ditch, Ditch or maybe closer to home.

While I'm going to miss the friendship and the strawberry shortcake , I hope to be enjoying nothing but a loon song or two in the woods of Maine. I'm heading out the middle of that week, for a 4-5 day camping trip with my brother-in-law. It's one of hopefully two fall trips we do every year and I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo looking forward to it. Especially after a long week of business related BS with visiting sales/engineering types from one of the companies I rep, which is why I've been absent all week.
I can't wait, no phones, no tv, no radio, no kids, no wife, no nothing; just a couple of 25 year old friends shooting the sh*t around the campfire at night and fishing our **ses off during the day. Saltheart, maybe at the next one, love that shortcake. Man I've been so out of it; I don't even know which one I'm posting about , is this mass or rhody? I've got to catch up, but I've got so much business pilled up, I doubt that's going to happen. I haven't even checked the long weekend weather, I sure hope it's not snotty....need to fish...need to fish...need to fish.
