The Cape

Im going to be heading to to the cape later this week for an all nighter(first time). I have been checking out the map and have done some research and have figured out most of the beaches I am going to hit. I dont have a oversand vehicle so I am limited to beach parking lot and walking. If anyone has any information that they would be willing to share with me that would be great, plug selection, tides, maybe beaches....etc. Im not trying to get everyones honey holes nor would I like anyone to name any spots on this thread, if you are kind enough to share a beach name do so in a pm. Thank you very much for your help.

Dave, BM told me all the fish are on Rhody, they only migrate to the cape when he's not fishing with me...

Well, you certainly don't need a 4WD permit to enjoy the fishing up there!

There are PLENTY of walk-on beaches with ample parking.

PICK *one* beach. Try to walk it at low tide during the DAY and look for structure. Mark your spots mentally. Return after sunset and after the wine-dark sea has covered up your spots. Make note of tide, moon phase, bait present, water clarity, etc.

Hunting for spots is half the fun of fishing, for me at least! When I get sick of the predictability of the Rhody rockpiles, I go to the Cape for some mental stimulation.

Make sure you get a free parking permit at CCNS Eastham Visitor Center.
