I fish until myself or friends stop catching. Then I fish at least 1 more week. Probably fish into first week of Dec. this year.

Last year I fished a few days in Jan, Feb, and March.

Power plant holdover stripers and party boat trips for bottom critters.

i go until i don't see any more bait, string a few serious skunks together, don't hear of anything else going on, and feel my effort is no longer worth it. some years it has been december, others it has been early november. i always hear of something good happening just after i quit, though.

Little Compton should hold fish into November, but it's going to be hit or miss. Unfortunately it's not easy to move around down here, but that's what you need to do...

You can land stripers all year if you are willing to put your time and effort into it. I usually put my gear away from Thanksgiving to Patty's Day though.

I like to fish into Nov., however this year I stopped early ( due to hunting ). I havent put my stuff away yet, but not sure I'll get back out there. I would think that you can fish till Thanksgiving no problem.

Till my b^%ls freeze off. Into Dec. You should probably be fishing the Westport River or one of the others like the Coles etc. need to find some warm water like dumping out of a river

No boat, back in the suds.

I never stop, well last winter 6+ inches of ice slowed me down, but I'll push the SSLund/Icebreaker to reach them. It's not about my season winding down, it's another season starting up and I sort of look forward to my winter fishing. It's less stress, even if the motor won't crank over, I'll float it off and use the trolling motor to fish.
