The only consolation is that the market is closing early today.

Chris, used to be a local winter thing, now it's more hard core... the condo's next door to the plaza I'm in, went section 8 housing a few years back, so we have some interesting folk from Lowell, Springfield, Worcester area... one of the girls with a bunch of kids, she told us one day that she was in the welfare office in Springfield, looking for housing... he gave her a choice... Holyoke, or Orleans, (DUH).... they paid to move her!!!
She buys her kid a candy bar with a $20 food stamp in the convenience store next door, spends the rest on scratch tickets, and a fifth of cheap vodka next door at my place... and goes back to her "condo on the cape"... all courtesy of the taxpayer... manager of the convenience store called the state... if it's a food item, he has to take it and give change......

So----> it's no more locals in pickup trucks grabbing a pint of blackberry brandy to keep the chill off while they're out duck hunting..... 'cause they ain't no more places to duck hunt!

heck----> the "locals" ... most of them moved to Maine!

I did... lost a coil pac on the way home from Rhody last night... skippin' all the way home..............
I was in line at the local parts place this AM, before I went to work and found the line waiting for me..... I think I spend too much time there... Ed at the counter, see's me waiting in the line outside, makes the "call me" sign, I hit him on the cell, tell him what I need, he tells me to go get a coffee and go to work... delivery truck swings in a half hour after I opened Gawd... I love good service...
