What do you really want for Christmas?
Be realistic, I know you want a fully loaded custom 75' sport fishermen with topless hooters girls as deckhands....but what do you really want that is realistic?

2 reels (still shopping around)... 1 rod (9-10 ft surf stick rated 1-3oz). Throw in a couple of plugs as "stocking stuffers" and I am all set!

I want my wife and kids and the rest of my family to be healthy and live long happy lives. I want the unrest in the world especially the mddle-east to end and the war in Iraq to be over, peacefully. I want Osama and all terrorists to be caught. I want the families of all those kids killed in that school in Russia by the Chechen terrorists to somehow find peace. I want a cure for cancer, heart disease, aids to be found. I want everyone to have a safe, affordable, decent place to live. I want every child suffering and scared in a hospital to be well and have to think of only things a little child should be concerned with. I want better health care for all american citizens. I want our armed forces to know we support them in every way and to pay them as they should be, give them the tools and equipment they need and while they are away defending us I want them to know that there families are and will be taken care of. I want all the elderly to take thier place as honored citizens who have done thier time at work or raising families to be looked on with the respect they deserve. I want people to stop veterans in the street or any where they meet them and take time to say thank you for thier service. I want no more Viet Nam memorials or memorials like them to ever have to be built again. I want this country, with the help of other nations to go back into space and re-kindle the human spirit of adventure and discovery that is so basic within us all. I want peace and happiness in all your lives. That is what I want for Christmas.

My eldest daughter once gave me a wrapped box of twinkies ( my favorite junk food) when she was about four. I still think of it as one of my best presents ever.

Might as well have the best!!
They make some really sweet stuff. My favorite surf fishing hat (that I have had for 10 seasons now...) is a Filson. A lot of thought and real quality thru and thru.

If I die, send me away with this hat.
