I've been out a few times in snotty conditions, worse than where we were 2 miles outside of Plymouth but they were probably worse 30 miles out than any I've been in before... I haven't lost it yet out there but had we continued, yesterday might have been that first time ... It would have been chum city out there and probably not much fun for most of the people...


But I did get to meet a few more of you - still didn't see a BLOOOCRAB!!!

...I was the dude near the door, most of the time..(I was sittin' near the young boy~who's name I never got ..a real pleasure to meet him, a future King-fisherman ..I'm sure!! ..Good Job Dad...we met outside a couple of times, he said he was someone's friend, and wasn't a board member.. why not ??)...anyways, I wanted to be the first one out the door when the captain yells ..." ..when C.ratt handed out awards, I was right behind you...with Milo and Angler #1...I heard you ask us to hang around for a few minutes...I was kinda in a hurry to hit Newport for some Hogs...if I'm gettin up @ 4am ...I gotta dunk somethin besides a donut .....but I'm glad I hung out, there really was a great bunch of people there...... thanks JohnR...C.Ratt...Mike...for tryin' and still makin it interesting...

That was a friend of mine and his son.John and son Timmy. We went Sunday but the kid was not used to fishing for cod that deep and had a hard time. He is a good fisherman and when we add some pounds to him he will be fine.

Don't worry Bloocrab, I'm the same way. Not big on big social gatherings with folks I don't know. Not a big "mingler"... it only takes me a few months to warm up to people.

Some folks confuse that with me being a jerk.

Well, I may be a jerk, but that's not why I don't talk to people.

I thought the ride out was pretty cool anyway... I've been in crappy weather on the ferry a few times, but that's a pretty big boat. Water was bustin' through the front down below and the boat was really rockin'.

I've been in choppy stuff in small boats... but that was the first I was able to really experience some decent size seas in a smaller vessel. It was cool... doubt I'd like to do that for an extended period, or actually work in it, but it was fun.

Thanks for putting together... John, you just need to get the mojo off you with all this bad weather.

DITTO! I usually do OK if people approach me .....but I am not a big "approacher".........if I had to guess.....thats probably the biggest problem here!!!
