We have gotten an overwhelming amount of postive feedback regarding the new single row bag with regard to overall design and spce available. What did you all think of that little honey ?

Tried them on at the hartford show and they felt great,they seemed like they will be easy to tie knots with also, one thing about all gloves and I cant speak for these yet because I havent used them yet, is the fact that they continue to reek after handling allot of fish or lugging that 30 pounder back from somewhere, but we will see.......once again another KICK ASS, product from Kadir and Crazy AL....

Thanks for the reply and the compliment! The best thing to do is wash them with mild soap and water. Since they are synthetic, they will not hold the smells like all leather gloves.....but they still need a wash once in a while.

I tried the gloves on at the show and found that I liked them a lot, the only problem was that I have long fingers and even the largest glove was a little on the small side. What I'm wondering is how wearing the gloves when it's cold would effect my hands. What I mean is having a wet glove on for a long period of time, would that make my hands feel even colder?

I though the bag was great and plan on picking one up at the R.I. show. Good job.

I have got to say I love the gloves and look forward putting them to the test this season. I'm sure they will hold up well, just like all of your products. My only thing is I have hard time fishing with gloves, but then again I have never tried on a pair like yours. I like the feel of them and the tightness to my skinz, and that makes a difference. I got to tell you buddy and I know I speak for many. For a lot of us Fishing the surf is not a picnic, it’s a very tough environment. The salty Ocean is an unforgiving atmosphere and a play ground for all of us, but in order to play in this park you need equipment that can handle the elements season after season. You guys have made that possible for me and many I’m sure, so keep up the good work and when we going to see some waders. Waders are the only thing I have now to replace twice a Year if I’m lucky. I hate gloves in general and avoid wearing them even when at work remodeling or doing finish carpentry. So I can't imagine how one could tie knots with anything on.

That said, I cut my thumb to the bone on Wednesday and now have to wear a glove on my left (favored) hand in order to splint and protect the wound...First glove I wished I had was the Skinz

Now that we know it's not infected, the wound will be getting a shot of Crazy glue today to hold it better. I am praying it will heal in time for the first cast, not to mention work!

I concur with what RoyL said and can't wait to put the new top to the test, soon.

Too expensive, sorry guys but you asked. I looked at them and they are very well made but it's just too much money for the product. I guess I won't be among the "in" crowd on the beach this year. I don't see it.

I like the gloves, and I will soon find out what it will be like once they get wet how cold my fingers will be. They fit well even with my gargantuan hands. I will try the knot tying with them on when I get a chance. $25 or so for a quality pair of gloves that are not leather like a golf glove isn't all that much money to spend. I paid more for my Glacier gloves and I don't really like those at all, especially once they get wet.
I like the single row plugbag, very well thought out design, lots of room for what you will need. The bucktail jig slots are big enough for canal size jigs too, not just those small ones they use at Montauk. I think for the quality of the bag you are paying for, it will outlast a bag that cost less and leave the customer happy.

RoyL, thanks for the compliments! With all the fishing you do I can only imagine what you must spend on gear.... We thank you and everyone else that uses the AquaSkinz gear for your support.

Flaptail, you really think they are too much? I did a lot of re-search on the costs and found that the average pair of gloves was in the $25.00 range and they weren't as well made or fit as nicely.

To answer the question about how they feel when wet, I used them all last Fall and even in early January on a cod trip and even when wet, they kept my hands nice and warm, blocked the wind and kept me going. They will also remain very flexible when wet, unlike other gloves that tend to get stiff when they get wet.

Sorry to hear that bud, hope it heals quickly but it sounds like a bad one.

Flaptail, I don't think it has anything to do with being in with the "in crowd"! I don't see anybody who uses AquaSkinz as seeing themselves as being part of an "in crowd", this isn't about a popularity contest or about being liked by other because of what one uses. AquaSkinz produces gear that is high quality and thoughtful design that is ment to work and make fisherman's outtings more productive, comfortable and enjoyable. It is afterall made by guys who actually play in the arena RoyL described. It has to perform and it has to stand up to the rigors that environment subjects us to. We all know this, inferior equipment does not last, ends up costing twice as much due to repairs, re-purchase and does not perform. But people will have their own view points and I can accept that.

I tried them on and they felt great. What has always been lacking in the gloves I own is the ability to tie a knot while wearing them. I think that these gloves will allow me to. I don't think that these gloves are overpriced at all.

I loved them. And can't wait for more feedback from use. this is a critical crowd and I am sure there will be more feedback, although I doubt there will be much negative feedback.

I still have doubts about tieing knots. For me, at least, knots are too important to allow any interference. I guess tieing something like a palomar could be done with the gloves. And they definitely allow for enough dexterity to do anything else I need to do fishing.

I might have to pick up a pair before the feedback comes in. I have never wore a pair of gloves that are worth a %$%$%$%$e' when wet. If these work when wet, I can't imagine owning a different pair of gloves.

I know I really like the newer form fitting mechanix and finish caprentry gloves. And these fit as well as any pair I have owned or tried, and they offer as much or more dexerity.

You said it perfectly and I think the tying of knots is going to surprise you. I was able to tie the "Alberto knot" which is mono or floro leader directly to the braid kind of like an albright. This is difficult but doable. The improved cinch or palomar are much, much easier and most folks use these knots.

I met you at the MSBA show and you are a nice guy. I know Crazy Al too and think the world of him but I am just stating my view is all and I am glad you understand that it is my view only and I think we are free to express our points of view. I still can't see the cost for them or the bags etc. Maybe cause I own a zillion plugs I don't worry about the prospect of my bag dumping or my gloves having the grip tip etc. I will go away now. Carry on and fire at will. No disrespect intended, just the way I see it.

Hi Kadir. I have not seen nor tried them out in person, but one thing I might recommend is that they come with a small snap so that if you are wading and need to take one or both off, you can quickly snap them on to the other glove, to the loop on the front of your skinz, belt, etc. so you don't lose them while using your bare hands. Are the index fingers thumb pads beefed up for braid?

Ever look at Burton snowboard gloves? The've go this special fabric on the index finger too called SnAP: Snot Absorption Pad. I could use on in the cold1

I'd be happy to test out a medium pair for you when you send me my Evo 2 back I have the large plug bag and can attest to it keeping everything intact when I get slammed off a rock. The only issue I have with the lg. bag i that the spool pouch is too snug for my 706 spool. It should be desinged so that if you are wearing gloves, you can pull it out. The single row bag looks awesome and mighty tempting! Keep up the good work Kadir & Al! Any tough, breathable bibs/jetty pants coming out soon?

No offense taken nor was it disrespectful....I also think your nice guy! Cost is relative to quality and quality is relative to comfort and fuctionalty and both are relative to longevity and productivity in what we do.

Quality especially is critical as the environment breeds abuse and the gear has to hold up. All of these factors dictate price because of the workmanship and materials involved. No one should tell another what is best for them whether it be based on application or price. The only thing I know is the better something is thought out and made, the longer it will last and the better it will perform. Kinda like a buying a custom rod or walking into K-Mart and getting one of their combo's....not exactly the same. Same as I said earlier, lesser quality ends up costing more (over time) and not performing as well during the whole time.

The sizes are typical glove sizes but they will stretch to a degree due to the materials used. There will be a size chart on the AquaSkinz web site for the gloves which you can print. You can get your size by putting your right hand on the line to the left with your thumb under the paper and on the right, it will indicate the best size to get.

The wading belt with the back support will be available in about 2-3 weeks based on the dealers.

Late November, nothing puts a halt to fishing except freezing hands. With neoprene gloves I've worn, they might be too tight or something, but they make my hands colder. I'm definitly willing to give these a shot!

Hey guys,

I was just playing with my gloves and gave them the knot tying test. They passed with flying colors. I tied up a half dozen leaders with the gloves on and had no problems. The last two I tied after getting my hands/gloves wet. As far as the temperature factor goes I can see these working like a wet suit. Trapping a layer of water tween the glove and your hands that will be warmed by your body temp. I think these gloves are going to be aweosme for climbing up and over a few of the rocks in Cohas....

I think these gloves are AWESOME. Some of the gloves I have tryed on are way to bulky. They will keep you warm but you can't feel a thing.
The new Aquaskinz gloves are anything but bulky. You can feel what you are holding. ( Hopefully a 40 lber)
I can't wait to get out and give them there first test.
